Digital Aquatics News Update
Posted: 11/24/2009
The new firmware (1.10) for the ReefKeeper Lite should be available in about 4-6 weeks, once testing is complete. At that time it will be available for download and we will begin shipping new ReefKeeper Lite systems with that version. Firmware 1.10 is a precursor to the much anticipated 2.0. It will introduce a number of advanced features, such as our "Ready-Fit" functions for quick, hassle-free set up of heaters, fans and chillers as well as our new "EasyFlow" menu navigation. This improved programming style harks back to the days of the ReefKeeper1 and ReefKeeper2, allowing for quick programming of almost all settings and channel outputs. "EasyFlow", is a feature that our long time customers have been asking for. It helps reduce the learning curve in transitioning from an RK1/RK2 to a ReefKeeper Lite along with making the setup of your reef tank easier for our new customers!
The ReefKeeper Lite will be offered in three packages; Basic, Plus and NET as listed here. ANY of the three systems can interface with the NET module whether you get it now or later. No matter when you purchased your ReefKeeper Lite, you will be able to update the firmware in the system to take advantage of this new powerful feature set! Digital Aquatics is committed to developing new and innovative features for our systems and making sure our customers aren’t left behind. Please visit our online store for package details.
