Our Company
Digital Aquatics was started in 2004 and has grown to be a fixture in the aquarium industry. From our humble beginnings with the ReefKeeper controller, now called the RK1, we’ve built the most flexible and cost effective system on the market with the ReefKeeper Elite (RKE) and ReefKeeper Lite (RKL).

I’ve been with Digital Aquatics from almost the beginning and I’ve been interested in the reef hobby for years! I’ve built/kept quite a few tanks over the years ranging from a DIY 10g cube to my 155 bow-front tank. My current tanks include a mixed reef 20g with an in tank sump and a new 40g breeder that I’m working on.

Over the years I’ve found that I like two kinds of tanks. I enjoy watching growth on a mico level which make my many nano builds ideal! I also am very interested in a fish only (limited coral) large (huge) tank and would very much like to do an 8’ x 8’ x 30” tank some day.

There’s something about a Naso Tang that I really like and I can’t seem to get away from a number of Wrasses!

I’m a sucker for Zoos!

I joined the Digital Aquatics Team early in the development of the ReefKeeper Elite. I am currently running a 30G Cube mixed-reef and am learning more and more every day about this great hobby.

My goal is to upgrade to a ~60G cube in the near future giving a bit more room for my livestock.

I have been working at Digital Aquatics since 2007. It has been great to watch this hobby evolve and grow and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

The dynamics of freshwater tanks have intrigued me the most. In addition to a 10g tank that I have here in the office, I am currently starting up a tank with plants and driftwood at home. My goal is to set up a tank that looks like it belongs in a tropical jungle.

For saltwater, I would have to say that I enjoy the look of the Flame Angel. For freshwater, I like the basic Chinese Algae Eater. I think that they have a lot of character!

I like the look of Java Moss when it acts like a carpet in a tank.
